No soy creyente, no creo en ninguna religión ni en ningún Dios, pero ayer realmente sentí tener un ángel guardían que me protegió y me ayudó.
Estaba de camino a casa sobre las 3:30 de la mañana, justo había salido de un concierto en la sala Clamores de un grupo de música roots donde toca un amigo (Emeterians), bajando por la calle Génova dirección Colón para coger el buho de vuelta a casa.
De repente se me para alguien al lado - querrá preguntarme algo - pensé, me quité un auricular de la oreja y medio segundo después el tio me estampó contra una pared y me puso algo que no logré ver en mi cuello. Y justo en ese momento apareció otro individuo al lado el cual era su compañero. Miré hacia la cara del tio que me tenía cogido, me miraba fijamente y me dijo que se lo diera todo, que lo soltara todo. Saqué mi cartera y le enseñé el dinero, llevaba unos 35 euros y se lo di al otro individuo que estaba al lado, el cual me cogió la cartera y empezó a mirarlo por dentro. Luego el que me tenía agarrado, de piel negra me dijo que sacara el móvil, le pedí que me dejara ir, le dije que ya le había dado todo el dinero. Mientras todo esto pasaba vi gente pasando por la calle, gente pasando mirando la situación. Pensé en gritar pidiendo ayuda, pero no tenía ni idea de qué era lo que me estaba apretando contra el cuello y no quise arriesgarme así que saqué el móvil el cual me lo quitó el otro individuo que permaneció al lado todo el tiempo mirando de vez en cuando al rededor, en modo vigilante. Me sacaron el mp3 del bolsillo y me cogieron los auriculares y me dijo el que me sujetaba que ahora me iba a ir, que me fuera y que no les siguiera ni dijera nada. Me soltaron y seguí bajando la calle, nervioso pensando en cómo volvería a casa cuando de repente unos metros mas delante oí a una chica gritar preguntando si me había robado. Si! Respondí, y al instante aparecieron dos tios corriendo gritándome que les señalase los tios, me di la vuelta y los vi andando hacía mi lado contrario, los señalé y los dos tios corrieron hacia los que me atracaron y los tiraron al suelo.
Pareció una escena de película de acción de policías. Agarran a los dos atracadores y los inmovilizaron contra el suelo. Al acercarme me preguntaron si eran esos los que me atracaron y lo que respondí con un si. Durante todo ese proceso que pasó tan rápido que mi mente no pudo asimilarlo todo me enteré que esos dos hombres que salieron corriendo de repente a por los atracadores y que iban vestidos de paisanos eran de la policía, y en ese momento pasó por mi cabeza la idea de un ángel guardián. Me preguntaron qué me habían quitado, les dije dinero, aunque no me acordaba exactamente de cuanto, el móvil y el mp3. Registraron a unos de los atracadores y les sacaron mis pertenencias, más una pipa de fumar y unas gafas de sol. Me preguntaron si entre esas cosas estaban mis cosas y pude reconocer mi teléfono móvil y mi mp3. Pidieron ayuda por radio y al rato aparecieron más agentes de policía. Registraron a uno y encontraron mi dinero, luego recogieron los objetos que había en el suelo y me preguntaron si eran míos, les dije que el movil y el mp3 si, pero la pipa de fumar y las gafas no. El agente cogió la pipa de fumar y me preguntó si era eso lo que me puso en el cuello, no estaba seguro, pero el tacto de metal se parecía. Llegó otro coche patrulla en el cual metieron a los dos atracadores y luego yo me fui con los otros dos en otro coche a la comisaria que queda al lado de Plaza de España para tomar declaración.
Una vez en la comisaria me guió uno de los agentes hasta una zona donde debía esperar. Ahí me quedé pensando en qué había pasado y la suerte que tuve de que apareciesen esos dos agentes para arrestar a los dos cabrones que me atracaron. Cuando requisaron mis objetos de los atracadores no me los devolvieron en el acto, me dijeron que una vez tomada declaración se me serian devueltos, con lo cual no tenía ningún problema. Pensé en cómo ocurrió todo, realmente no se cuánto tiempo pasó desde que fuese empujado contra la pared hasta estar ahí sentando en la comisaria, pero tuve la sensación de como si todo hubiera pasado en un solo segundo.
Al rato me dijeron que entrara en una sala donde estaba el agente y una chica, la cual preguntó que contara lo sucedido. Me llamó la atención el hincapié que hizo en lo que dijo el que me tenía sujeto, en las amenazas y las palabras que usó. Supongo que en un juicio sería un dato importante a la hora de poner cargos sobre el detenido. Realmente no me acordé del todo lo que me dijo, se que intimidó, me dijo que no hiciese nada ya que podría hacerme algo, pero no llegué a entender todo lo que me dijo y por tanto no se realmente qué tipo de amenaza me dijo, así como algunos otros detalles que me fueron preguntados a los que no pude responder con seguridad.
Me volvieron a enseñar el presunto arma que usó para atracarme, la pipa de fumar y me preguntó si era eso lo que puso contra el cuello, a lo que tuve que responder que no estaba seguro, pero que era posible.
Luego me enseñó una copia del informe pidiéndome que lo firmara si estaba conforme, lo firmé y me devolvió mis pertenencias. Luego me comentó que tendría que ir a un juicio rápido para testificar, el cual será mañana, lunes.
Salí de la comisaria y cogí un taxi de vuelta a casa. Durante el trayecto no pude creer todo lo ocurrido, no pude creer la suerte que tuve de que apareciesen esos dos agentes y al final sólo acabara la noche con un susto. Pensé en el juicio, en qué haría al volver a ver a esos dos que me atracaron. ¿Los soltarán? fue un robo a mano armada, con intimidación, los cogieron con las manos en la masa y casi justo en el momento del atraco, no tienen nada para defenderse.
Mañana lo sabré, y aunque la experiencia haya sido mala, agradeceré eternamente la acción de los dos agentes, que aparecieron de la nada y consiguieron coger a los dos ladrones. También me gustaría darle la gracias a la chica que me gritó preguntándome si me habían robado ya que creo que ella pasó delante mía mientras estaba atrapado y vio a dos policías que estaba de guardia y les dijo que estaba pasando algo, ya que el agente me comentó que vio desde lejos que algo raro estaba pasando, pero sin confirmación no estaba seguro si debía actuar, ya que muchas se ven chavales por la calle haciendo bromas, y claro, a veces no es fácil saber si te están atracando o si es una pequeña discusión. No se si esto pasó así, no pude hablar con la chica, pero tengo la certeza que fue ella quién avisó a la policía de que estaba pasando algo.

J'ai depuis quelques temps une petite idée qui me trotte dans la tête... Et la vague impression que ça "pourrait" marcher ! J'ai récemment fait la "rencontre" de Joomla! qui m'a de suite séduit malgré une certaine complexité. Mais l'envie d'y parvenir, à elle seule, suffira-t-elle ?
Une grande famille...
Joomla! est ce qu'on appelle un CMS. Pour Content Management System (Système de Gestion de Contenu, en français). C'est (juste) une application web qui permet de créer des sites web dynamiques voire des applications multimédias. Dans la très très grande famille des CMS, certains sont orientés blog (comme l'excellent Dotclear, que j'utilise depuis longtemps ou encore WordPress), d'autres sont orientés eCommerce (comme osCommerce) mais certains ne sont pas orientés du tout et permettent de faire à peu près ce qu'on veut !
Et c'est justement le cas de Joomla!.
Pourquoi Joomla! ?
La hiérarchie au sein de Joomla! a de quoi en dérouter plus d'un mais comme tout, je pense que c'est une question de temps ! Et comme je suis plutôt patient...
Mais en dépit de cette complexité, Joomla! me semble intéressant à plus d'un titre :
C'est un CMS "OpenSource". En cair, il ne coûte rien !
PHP, CSS et MySQL ! Un langage assez simple [1] des feuilles de styles ainsi qu'une "simple" base de données MySQL. Rien de plus !
Joomla! veut dire "Tous ensemble" en Swahili[2]. Entendez par là que ce n'est pas qu'une application : c'est aussi une communauté. Cerise sur le gâteau, on a même un portail ''francophone'' avec des solutions à (presque) tous les problèmes...
Une communauté "active" ! De nombreux développeurs ajoutent leur contribution au projet en créant de nouvelles extensions ou encore en traduisant les extensions existantes. Sachez que si les modules livrés par défaut ne suffisent pas, de nombreuses autres extensions sont disponibles.
L'extension VirtueMart. C'est l'un des modules eCommerce spécialement conçu pour Joomla!. Il en existe d'autres mais celui-là me semble particulièrement aboutie...
A l'heure actuelle...
Reste encore à s'adapter à ce nouvel environnement. Mon projet, s'il est encore un peu flou, se dessine tout doucement. Mais je sais déjà que la route peut être longue et qu'elle mène parfois nulle part !

CommonSense With Markk -- my very first blog launched in early 2006 -- has gone past its sell-by date. The time has come to send it to pasture. This is it, folks! Finito.
I hate to do it but I'm not going to feel nostalgic or sentimental about it after almost two and a half years of blogging on this site which, at one time, was going places. But since the Google PageRank slapfest late last year, things have not been the same like the "good old days."
I felt great with CommonSense when the going was good. It rose to PR3 in about four months after its launch and at one stage it attained PR5 before Goog started the slapfest. As is commonly known, writing paid posts has its downside - and that had incurred the wrath of Big G.
I'm taking this action now because the Google jive has started again and I'm not expecting Big G to show a benign smile on this blog. I've seen the little green thingy fluctuating in the last couple of days. Don't know when it will settle down but now I'm packing up here, don't care much for PageRank now where this blog is concerned.
Although I tried to plod on I found the task too tiresome and it was like a millstone hung around my neck. I soon realized that you can't be running two personal blogs -- the other being The NextPost -- at the same time. As it is, it's already tough for some bloggers to churn out post after post and making sure the stuff you write are not crap or fluff.
There's a lot of disadvantages in having a name like CommonSense With Markk. It's too personal and there's not much you can do to broaden its scope. I don't know what you all think but that's what I have learned through three years of running a couple of websites and a number of other blogs. I supposed if you treat blogging as just a hobby then it's fine to stay with it and continue posting at your own pleasure.
If I had wanted CommonSense to continue, I could, but reality check tells me I have to devote more attention to those other sites of mine. They are going to take up a lot of my time in the days ahead.

The title of your Blogger post was generated for each page of your blog would display the blog title first, then the title of your post. This is not so good for SEO (search engine optimization) as this made keywords from your post titles appear after your blog title.
Luckily, Blogger have come up with a simple fix for this problem for those who use Layouts templates (new Blogger template). This new tag is already installed for new blogs (or if you change your existing template to one of Blogger's default ones).
However, if you have customized your template or have a third party template, you will need to change the original to the new tag for this change to take effect.
Here's what you have to do:
Go to Layout>edit HTML in your Blogger dashboard.
Search for this tag:<data:blog.pageTitle/>
Replace this tag with the following: <b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "index"'> <title><data:blog.title/></title> <b:else/> <title><data:blog.pageName/></title> </b:if>
Save your template, and your done (See, this is an easy hack!)
Let me translate this code to you. This code actually saying to Blogger to show your Blog title if you open the homepage and to show your post title if you open one of the post page. This will increase the chances of your posts being picked up in search engine results for keywords which appear in your post titles (and can ultimately help draw more targeted traffic to your blog).
One nasty hack is to put your own extra keywords into it. Suppose you have blog related to cats. You can put this instead:
